My name is Trang Pham. I am a hair stylist and a make-up artist, and I want to thank you for visiting my site. It’s been a long process but I couldn’t be more thrilled that everything has finally falling into place.

Just to give you a brief history of my make-up and hair styling background, I went to Wink Make-Up and Hair Studio Academy which was located in downtown Toronto, Canada. I had some of the most talented, caring and nurturing teachers there; Georgia Spira, Vicki Syskakis and Paulina Elor. Shortly after I graduated, I started working on fashion photoshoots and I also took a part-time job at a beauty counter selling product lines such as Lancome, Clinique, Lancome, Smashbox, Benefit, Bare Minerals, Guerlain, Clarins (just to name a few) to familiarize myself with as many products as possible. It was during this time that the driving force for me to continue on this path took a turn.

After a year, I decided to take a step back from the industry to reflect and figure out what exactly I wanted because my purpose for starting this had lost its meaning. In retrospect, one important insight that I’ve learned after interacting with many women of different age groups and ethnic backgrounds is that a lot of women thought very negatively about themselves when it came to their physical appearance. When I dug deeper into their psyche, I discovered that their low self image was a reflection of how they felt about themselves internally.

I created this site because I wanted to promote to women an idea that seems to have been lost in this profit driven industry and the perpetual image of what “beauty” is supposed to be. My goal is to restore to my clients the feeling of confidence, security and really being comfortable in your own skin, first and foremost. To me, true beauty is about loving yourself, being positive to yourself and to others. I want to bring these qualities back to women by showing them you don’t need to hide your face under all of that make-up. I want to restore confidence and love back into their lives and to make them more intelligent buyers when it comes to cosmetics. Now I can say that I found my sense of purpose.

I cannot say that I am an expert because that implies that I know every single thing about this industry, which I don’t. There is always something new to learn everyday and I hope that we all can be a part of this journey together.
